How to Convert your Document to PDF:
There are many ways to convert a document to PDF. When a PDF-converter (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, PrimoPDF) is installed, it basically works the same as a printer. Just print your document and choose the “PDF Printer”. The program will save your file as a PDF instead of sending it to the printer.
Some software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator) also allows you to directly save your document as a PDF. Just click “save as” and choose the file format to be PDF.
If you are using Microsoft Word 2007 there is a plug-in available which allows you to directly convert your Word document into PDF. You can download it under the following link:
Primo PDF is open source software and can be downloaded at http://www.primopdf.com/
